Franklin vs Silva 2 - Set for October
The 77th installment of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, dubbed “Hostile Territory”, will be held on October 20th in Cincinnati.
Headlining the event will be a famed mixed martial artist from Ohio named Rich Franklin. Franklin will be taking on Anderson Silva in a Middleweight Title fight while the other feature fight will see Tim Sylvia take on Brandon Vera.
Of his rematch against Sylvia, Franklin told Dana White that he has never trained harder for a fight than he is for this one, and he is determined to not only win his title back, but to do so in front of his hometown fans on October 20th.
Tickets for UFC 77 go on sale this Sunday and will be available through Ticketmaster and the US Bank Areana Box Office www.usbankarena.com.
