Eddie Bravo Says Pot is Good for Jiu-Jitsu
Most don’t think of marijuana as a performance enhancement drug, but Eddie Bravo claims otherwise with his recent interview with High Times magazine. Although Bravo is not a MMA fighter, he is one of the top jiu-jitsu guys in the world and provides commentary for the UFC. So what does Eddie have to say regarding marijuana and martial arts?
He started smoking marijuana, which he readily credits with helping him develop his radical style of jiu-jitsu in his second book, Mastering the Rubber Guard, which offers step-by-step instructions on Bravo’s favorite jiu-jitsu techniques, as well as a lengthy endorsement of marijuana use.
Bravo unabashedly recommends marijuana, saying that it will not only improve your jujitsu game, but also your life. His openness with regard to pot has been criticized by some: Isn’t Bravo aware that he’s a respected figure, that there are young people who look up to him, that’s he’s a role model?
It’s no wonder that he and Joe Rogan are such good buds, get it?

if you want to smoke, then smoke. if you dont, then dont. if you dont want your kids to have be negatively influenced by people you disagree with, then teach them your ways instead of hiding reality from them. but censoring others and restricting the freedoms of others is not the right thing to do.

it was in the high times so people that smoke pot read that and i dont think parents that want their kids to not smoke pot would let them read that and when a kid is of the age where the enjoy watching mma or bjj they are usualy old and can make their own decisions. i dont think there is much of a problem in saying that. Pot i think should be legal and kids should not smoke it because it can ruin their future but do what you want to do.
