The political bombardment has already begun as we inch closer to the 2008 election. And what do politics have to do with mixed martial arts? MMA fighter Jeff “The Snowman” Monson has plenty to say about the subject. By far he is the most outspoken fighter when it comes to his view on government and if he were to run for president he’d run on the platform of anarchy. Here is an interview from about a year ago where Monson broaches subjects such as capitalism, socialism, and the need for direct democracy. He even goes as far as saying that we should get rid of the police force in this country. Pretty “out there” stuff, but props to him for being a free thinker and actually caring about politics.
