First Female MMA Fighter to Fail Drug Test

Jennifer Tate MMA FighterHere’s a first, a female has been suspended and fined by the California State Athletic Commission for failing a drug test. Jennifer “Rosebud” Tate (and no, I’m not making it up, Rosebud is her nickname) fought in Pro Elite on October 26, 2007 and tested positive for Marijuana. Her suspension runs from the conclusion of the bout on October 26, 2007 through January 24, 2008. She has been fined $500. Jenny, you know how much green bud you could have bought for five hundo?

    i dont want to believe this. even after SamCaplan the lead writer confirmed the news…

    Why?? why??? what happened on Tate? i dont want to think Tate hurts female MMA. They all have been working hard to spread this new sport.

    Nakamura former Judo player got same troble, mst of us Japanese didnt believe it…. Judo-ka with Marijuana??? bullshit it aint be true…
