Fighter Busted for Morphine
…and methadone. This week a female fighter was supspended by the California State Athletic Commission for testing postive for weed, and now a fighter gets busted for morphine and methadone. I think both of these are “firsts” for the sport of mixed martial arts, what a week. According to the CSAC,
Jason Winther, who last competed for Rebel Fighter on November 3, 2007 in Placerville, has tested positive for Methadone and Morphine. His suspension runs from the conclusion of the bout on November 3, 2007 through July 30, 2008. He has been fined $1,500.
