Ex-UFCers Headline WCO Event
While the UFC is home to big name A-level fighters, another organization seems to have a sucked up some big name B-level fighters. The World Cagefighting Organization my not be well know to the mixed martial arts fan-base, but the line up of fighters for its January 12th show is. The main event will be headlined by two former UFC light heavies Vernon “Tiger” White vs. Renato “Babalu” Sobral. Other well know UFC fighters to participate include Joe Riggs, David Loiseau, Mark Kerr, Ricco Rodriguez, Drew Fickett and Josh Haynes. Official fight card TBD.
Even though these may not be championship caliber matches, this should be a show worthy of watching. And the fact that it will be FREE makes it all the better. Ringsidejunkie.com will stream the fight live on the 12th. Gotta love it!
