Wanderlei Focusing on Boxing
Rawvegas.tv is continuing their MMA coverage with the series Road to UFC 79. Here we see Wandi interviewed as he preps for his fight against Chuck Liddell at UFC 79. Silva says he is mainly training boxing for this fight. Wanderlei has always been a great striker, but his sometimes sloppy hay-makers can get him in trouble against a skilled striker (see Mirko Cro Cop). If he can tighten up his punches he’ll stand a much better chance and we’ll be in store for a stand up war. Damn, I just sounded like Mike Goldberg there. Shoot me now.
