Contrary to the basketball flick White Men Can’t Jump, UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre might even have Wesley Snipes beat. Check out the spring on St. Pierre during this training clip. You’ll have to go about three minutes into the video to get a look at him leaping (easily) over five consecutive 44 inch hurdles but it’s worth it. Although he’s not throwing around monster weights a la Matt Hughes, his weight lifting routine is impressive none-the-less.

I remember reading a while back that unknown fighter Lew Polley was going to be the next great light heavyweight to take the MMA world by storm. At that time Polley had won 9 out of 10 fights with all of those wins coming by way of submission or TKO. Well I decided to check in on Lew and came across this clip of his last fight which occured in the IFL this past February.

Now that Ali Sonoma is no longer a ring card girl with the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Arianny Celeste has definitely stepped up to fill her, uh, shoes.

This is a great video clip of Arianny gyrating around in front of a camera during a recent photo shoot. She does do some talking about her training at the UFC gym, but really that part if the video is all secondary.

Also of note, Josh Burkman was rumored to be hitting that action a while back. Lucky bastard.

Just days before UFC 82, Heath Herring sits down with 107.5 DJ Dave Farra to give his thoughts on a number of topics. I dig this guy Dave, his voice is the epitome of a radio DJ, but I wish he would have pushed Herring more on his thoughts about his UFC 82 opponent, Cheik Kongo. Of Kongo, Herring basically says, “I know he’s French” and then moves on completely.

Check out how Heath tries to tip toe around the issue fighter salaries. He so badly wants to slam the UFC but obviously can’t as they sign his pay check. DOH!
